Receiving invoices
Supplier invoices, laid out clearly.
The idea
A PDF is a picture of a piece of paper.
What normally happens
Structured invoice → flattened to a PDF → you read “Service charge — 1 240,00”, have no idea what it covers, and have to ask the supplier.
What ByteBill does
Structured invoice → rendered from the data → you tap the line and see the detail the supplier sent with it — period, rate, quantity, VAT — with the original PDF one tap away.
How it works
Open dimensions, not a fixed template.
The invoice keeps its structure
An incoming PEPPOL or EHF document is decoded into its parts and stored as data — never collapsed into a rendered page.
A schema says how to show it
A document schema describes which dimensions this kind of invoice has and how deep they nest — so different suppliers’ detail can be shown without ByteBill shipping a new release.
The app renders it live
The invoice is drawn on the device from data and schema together — expandable and searchable. A clean PDF is generated and archived alongside it.
Issuers without a schema of their own fall back to a sensible default layout, so every invoice renders properly from day one.
See what you are paying for
A supplier invoice is something you have to check before you book and pay it. ByteBill shows it clearly, so the check takes seconds.
- Every line with its quantity, price and VAT
- Expand a line to see what produced it, where the supplier sends the detail
- Due date and paid or past-due status at a glance
- The original PDF kept alongside, viewable and saveable
Included in every ByteBill subscription.
Invoice viewing is one part of ByteBill. The rest is the accounting system: the ledger, VAT, receipts, payroll and your returns.
