About
Built for the businesses everyone else skips.
The company
ByteBill is a product of OneArkive.
We started on the receiving end — taking EHF invoices off the PEPPOL network, decoding them, and making them readable. The more we worked with the businesses receiving them, the clearer the real problem became: they weren’t short of an invoice viewer. They were short of a way to keep their books at all.
So ByteBill grew into a full accounting system. The ledger, VAT, receipt capture, payroll and the statutory returns — all of it built on the invoice infrastructure that was already there, and used through the ByteBill app for iPhone and Android.
What we hold to
Four things we won't trade away.
Proper accounting, not a shortcut
ByteBill is a real accounting system — a double-entry ledger, VAT, payroll and your returns — sized for a small business. You use it through the ByteBill app, so the books don't have to wait until you're back at a desk.
You file your own returns
ByteBill prepares and checks your statutory returns; you submit them with your own eID, through ByteBill. That keeps you in control of your own filings — and keeps ByteBill a software vendor rather than your accountant.
Your data leaves in a standard format
SAF-T export is built in, not an upsell. If you outgrow ByteBill or simply want to leave, your books come out whole in a format every accounting package reads.
Your data stays in the EEA
Your books are stored in the EEA — in Stockholm, with disaster-recovery copies in Norway.
Where we work
